Artful Stories for ages 3-4: The Artivist - Michael C. Carlos Museum
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/21/2024
Do you ever feel like you want to do something to help address problems or injustices in the world? Do you think art has the power to create change? Come hear the autobiographical book The Artivist by Nikkolas Smith and learn about his journey toward activism. View a mural by another artivist, Simon Kouka (Docta) from Senegal, in the Greek and Roman Galleries. Then head to the studio to make your own art that will give voice to something you care about in your neighborhood, school, or wider community.
