The Caboose! - Southeastern Railway Museum
Join us for our Second Thursday preschool program, Thursday, March 13. This month’s vehicle is the Caboose! Journey back to the golden age of railroads and uncover the fascinating history and purpose of the iconic red caboose. You can expect to learn about the evolution of the caboose from its humble beginnings, the role of the caboose crew in train operations, the unique features and design of cabooses, as well as the decline of the caboose and its lasting legacy on modern trains today. Admission to Second Thursday includes a caboose themed story time, arts and craft, social activity, walk through of our historic caboose, and a ride on the historic park train!
