EmpowHer: Empowering Black Girls to Lead

The King Center presents Beloved Community Leadership Academy's, EmpowHer: Empowering Black Girls to Lead sponsored by Goldman Sach's One Million Black Women. Our program, set to launch April 2024, is specifically designed to uplift and empower young Black girls ages 13-18. Are you ready to launch your daughter, grand-daughter, niece or friend into their destiny? If so, apply today for the initiative. Scholarships are available now. Cohort starts on April 27, 2024. All dates are on Saturdays. Graduation will take place on October 19, 2024.

Our program, set to launch April 2024, is specifically designed to uplift and empower young Black girls ages 13-18. We firmly believe that the participation of the ATL Public Schools is not only integral but paramount to the success of our program. By fostering character development, promoting wellness, and providing career readiness opportunities, we aim to equip these young girls with the tools they need to thrive in every aspect of their lives. We are also delighted to inform you that this program is entirely FREE of cost, as we are committed to providing accessible opportunities for young Black women to thrive.
