Free Concert with Victoria Hill, 2019 Miss Georgia and Miss America First Runner-Up and the Atlanta Concert Band

The Atlanta Concert Band is thrilled to announce that it will perform a free concert with the fabulous singer Victoria Hill at the Roswell Cultural Art Center on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
Victoria Hill is Miss Georgia 2019 and was the First Runner-Up to Miss America 2020. She is currently a senior vocal performance major at the prestigious Eastman School of Music located in Rochester, NY, with the intent of becoming a professional opera singer. She is proud to be an advocate for children in foster care and works with several different foster organizations across the states of Georgia and New York in order to raise awareness of the great needs of children in America’s foster care system.
The Atlanta Concert Band (atlantaconcertband.org) is in its 48th consecutive season and is composed of professional, semi-professional, and amateur musicians from across the Atlanta metropolitan area. Its members are unpaid volunteers who commit to weekly rehearsals to prepare repertoire for concerts throughout Metro Atlanta and beyond
The concert will include the classic numbers: Over the Rainbow, Someone to Watch Over Me, and They Can't Take that Away from Me, as well as selections from the Broadway hits Hamilton, Les Miserables and West Side Story.
The Roswell Cultural Arts Center is located at 950 Forest Street in Roswell. Plenty of free parking is available. There are no tickets (although donations are gratefully accepted) - just join us for the concert. Additionally, there will be some special surprise guests.
