DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
Click here for detailed driving directions to each house museum from I-75 and GA Highway 400. You may wish to print out these directions and bring them with you on the day of the event. GPS is not always reliable in Roswell’s historic district.
PARKING:
Free parking is available at all three house museums. Barrington Hall and Bulloch Hall each have parking on site. Parking at Smith Plantation is available at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street, Roswell, GA, 30075 OR at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA 30075. These locations are adjacent to Smith Plantation and convenient; however, there is no parking on the actual Smith Plantation property.
TIMES:
Homeschool Day starts at 10 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. at each house museum.
TOURING:
You may visit the house museums in any order you wish. Barrington Hall and Bulloch Hall are located across Marietta Highway/SR-120 from each other. Smith Plantation is located one mile north on Alpharetta Street/GA Highway 9. Walking between Barrington Hall and Bulloch Hall is not recommended due to busy intersections and heavy traffic.
Maps will be available upon check-in at any of the three house museums.

ACTIVITIES AND DEMONSTRATIONS:
Various activities and live demonstrations will be occurring at all three house museums at any given time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
CHECK-IN:
When you arrive at the first house museum, your name will be checked off the list, and you and your family will be given wrist bands to show you have paid. Look for tables set up outside for check-in. Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. at each house museum.
MAKE A DAY OF IT!
Visit all three historic house museums, spread out your blanket and enjoy your own picnic lunch on the grounds.
Or enjoy lunch at one of Roswell’s many restaurants where you will find something for every taste and budget.
