The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker, that herald of the Holidays, is coming with five performances December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Staged at Blessed Trinity High School, this year marks MBT's 16th production of the celebrated classic.
Metropolitan Ballet's full-scale production follows Clara from her victory over the evil Mouse King, to a voyage with her Nutcracker Prince. The travel through snowy hills to the Land of Sweets - a magical world of sparkling sugarplums, twirling angels, and dancing confections from around the world.
Experience the tale in all its tradition and magic, and set the stage for a memorable afternoon with our Sugarplum Storytime & Pointe Show Party. This is a time before each matinee when young ballet fans gather for refreshments and the story of The Nutcracker, told by the Sugarplum Fairy, herself! They'll also receive a genuine ballet pointe shoe hand-painted with the child's name, or a toy Mouse King - ready to be autographed by the characters from the ballet.
