Pine LakeFest, now in its 21st year, will be held on the shores of beautiful Pine Lake the weekend of October 21-22. This family-friendly festival features a marketplace with handmade work by 40 artists and crafters and live music by a dozen musicians and bands. There are family games and contests at the beach with prizes, street performers, a pet parade, and LakeFest’s signature wild water parade and race, the “Floatzilla/Regatta!” Admission and parking are free.
Festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with special activities for kids from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Family Fun area of the park. In addition to our traditional Chalk Art and Sand Sculpture contests, there will be fall-themed crafts, outdoor mural painting, a puppeteer, and a scavenger hunt.
Pine Lake is located just 12 miles east of Atlanta, between Clarkston and Stone Mountain. Stay and play; the lake is surrounded by a playground, a park with picnic spots, and wetlands with walking trails.
