The Atlanta Bujinkan Dojo invites you to a Practical Self-Protection Seminar, Saturday, Aug 23, 2025, from 12-2pm (eastern) on Home Safety.
The session is packed with practical advice and straightforward tactics for today’s risky world, that you can use to help keep you and your family safer at home - and put into practice right away. No prior training or physical skill is required. The focus will be primarily on strategy, awareness, planning, and other helpful tips.
"Modern society is filled with bad people intending to do harm to others. From emergency situations to break-ins, it’s best to be prepared!"
This seminar is designed for anyone who would like to be a little safer in today’s world, and doesn't require any prior self-defense training. This is not a typical ‘punch them with your keys’ seminar or a martial arts seminar. This session contains simple & effective strategies for keeping yourself & others safe at home – that anyone can use.
> Topics include: Emergency Preparedness, Evacuation, Locks, Alarms & other Crime Deterrence, Leaving Home / Vacation, Home Invasion / Burglary
This seminar is based on proven tactics & principles from our martial art, but it is not a 'martial arts' seminar. Our art covers so much more than physical altercations, and this strategic approach to everyday self-protection at home is just one aspect. :)
> The ‘Practical Self-Protection‘ series also includes: Personal Protection, Safety While Traveling, and Computer Security.

About The School:
Our martial art is a lot more than just punching, kicking, weapons, etc. While we do put in lots of training 'on the mat' and in the dojo, and that is our main focus, we also believe that real-world experience and a variety of skills are valuable to have too. And the art is much more robust & well-rounded than that. From defending against a physical attack, to awareness of your surroundings, to outdoor skills & first aid, to staying safe online – there are many types of self-protection in today’s world. And we strive to be as prepared as possible to handle whatever life sends our way.
