The total solar eclipse in August 2017 will be viewed by over twenty million Americans! Tellus Astronomer David Dundee will help you get ready for this celestial event as he explains why eclipses occur, how to view this year’s solar eclipse, and when the next eclipses will happen.

This program is all about eclipses – from lunar to total solar. Looking back to the proof of general relativity and looking forward to upcoming eclipses and where to witness them, discover how eclipses occur and what happens when they do.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
