This is not a typical camp. In Script to Screen, students don't just learn about filmmaking -- they actually make a film. Over five days, teens work through every stage of the filmmaking process: developing an original short script, planning pre-production and production design, setting up lighting and camera work, and spending the final two days on set filming. The week wraps with a special family showcase where students screen their finished work for friends and family.
Led by Matthew and Jared Young -- Georgia natives and professional filmmakers with over 20 years of experience in children's media, documentaries, feature films, and commercial production -- this intensive delivers real, professional-level instruction in a focused, small-group setting. Space is intentionally limited so every student gets meaningful hands-on time and individual feedback.
